These Terms govern your use of Aligned, operated by NeuroSpire Labs, Inc., 5416 Alumni Drive NW, Huntsville, AL 35806 ("we," "us"). By creating an account or using Aligned, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
ALIGNED IS A COACHING AND SELF-GROWTH SERVICE. IT IS NOT A CRISIS SERVICE, IS NOT EMERGENCY CARE, AND IS NOT A SUBSTITUTE FOR PROFESSIONAL MEDICAL OR MENTAL-HEALTH TREATMENT. IF YOU ARE THINKING ABOUT SUICIDE OR SELF-HARM, OR IF YOU OR ANOTHER PERSON MAY BE IN DANGER, OR IF YOU HAVE A MEDICAL EMERGENCY, IMMEDIATELY CALL OR TEXT 988 (THE SUICIDE AND CRISIS LIFELINE) OR CALL 911, AND CONTACT THE RELEVANT AUTHORITIES. Aligned provides relationship coaching, mood tracking, and self-growth content for informational and educational purposes only. Aligned is not a licensed medical or mental-health provider and does not provide medical or clinical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. No provider–patient or therapist–client relationship is created by your use of Aligned. Aligned may not be appropriate for everyone — including anyone experiencing a mental-health crisis, active suicidal ideation, or a severe or acute condition, which require in-person professional care. Never disregard or delay professional advice because of anything you received through Aligned.
Where Aligned connects you with a licensed therapist ("talk to a therapist"), that care is provided by independently licensed professionals under a separate agreement and Notice of Privacy Practices, distinct from Aligned's coaching service.
You must be at least 18 years old to use Aligned. By using Aligned you represent that you meet this requirement and that the information you provide is accurate.
Keep your login credentials secure; you are responsible for activity under your account. Notify us of any unauthorized use.
Aligned offers a free tier and an auto-renewing paid subscription, Aligned Pro ($4.95 per month), sold through your App Store or Google Play account.
Your use of Aligned must comply with United States federal law and the law of your state and local jurisdiction. Any illegal use will result in removal of the content and may result in deactivation of your account. Don't misuse Aligned: no unlawful, harmful, harassing, or infringing activity; no attempts to breach security, scrape, or reverse-engineer; no use on behalf of anyone under 18. If you pair with a partner, treat shared content respectfully.
You keep ownership of the content you create. You grant us a limited license to store and process it solely to operate and improve Aligned for you, as described in the Privacy Policy. You're responsible for the content you submit.
Aligned, including its assessments, models (e.g., the "NRSI"), text, and design, is owned by us or our licensors and protected by law. We grant you a personal, non-transferable, revocable license to use the app.
Aligned is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any result or recommendation will be accurate or achieve a particular outcome. Content is not medical, psychological, legal, or financial advice.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, NeuroSpire Labs, Inc. and its affiliates will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss arising from your use of (or inability to use) Aligned. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or US $100. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this may not apply to you.
You agree to indemnify us against claims arising from your misuse of Aligned or violation of these Terms.
Aligned relies on third-party services (e.g., the App Store, Google Play, RevenueCat). Their terms and privacy practices govern your use of them.
You may stop using Aligned and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for violation of these Terms or to protect the service or users.

Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the service shall be resolved by binding arbitration seated in Huntsville, Madison County, Alabama, under the rules of the American Arbitration Association. You waive the right to bring or participate in any class, collective, or representative action.
Any matter not subject to arbitration — including an action to compel arbitration, to enforce an award, or to seek injunctive relief — shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Madison County, Alabama, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction and venue of those courts.
We may update these Terms; we'll revise the "Last updated" date and notify you of material changes in-app. Continued use means acceptance.
Subscriptions and purchases. A full refund is available within 7 days of your first payment. After 7 days, a subscription is refundable on a pro-rated basis only where the service was unavailable for a sustained period attributable to us; a change of mind after 7 days is not a qualifying ground. Purchases made through an app store are additionally subject to that store's refund policy.
Non-refundable fees. A one-time registration or intake fee is non-refundable once the registration or intake has been processed.
You may stop using Aligned and close your account at any time.
We may suspend or terminate your access at our sole discretion, for any reason, including but not limited to: (a) a material breach of these Terms; (b) non-payment; (c) violation of our policies, including the acceptable use section above; (d) conduct that places another user, our staff, or the service at risk; or (e) a requirement of law.
Where practicable and not prohibited, we will give notice. Termination does not entitle you to a refund except as set out above, and does not relieve you of amounts already due.
This document is versioned. Minor corrections increment the decimal (for example 2.0 to 2.1); a material revision increments the whole number (2.0 to 3.0). The version in effect at the time an incident, claim, or dispute arises is the version that governs that matter, regardless of any later revision. Prior versions and their effective dates are retained and available on request.
