Introduction
This Privacy Policy describes how Aligned ("we", "our", "us") collects, uses, and discloses your information when you use the Aligned mobile application and website at aligned-focus.com ("the Service").
Aligned is operated by NeuroSpire Labs, Inc. (NSL) under the NORM Rhythm™ platform.
Information we collect
You provide to us
- Account data: name, email address, password (hashed), optional phone number
- Assessment responses: your answers to the NRSI and any other in-app questionnaires
- Journal and reflections: text, photos, and audio you record in the app
- Subscription data: handled by Apple App Store and Google Play Billing — we receive only receipt metadata, never your card number
Collected automatically
- Device identifiers: device ID, OS version, app version, language, time zone (via OneSignal for push notifications and Sentry for crash reports)
- App activity: screens viewed, buttons tapped, check-in completion, lesson progress
- Performance data: crash logs, load times, non-crash errors (via Sentry)
- Approximate and precise location: only if you grant permission; used for event/partner proximity features
How we use your information
- Provide the Service: deliver your daily focus, score your assessments, and sync progress across devices
- Personalize: adapt content to your phase, containment level, and current goals
- Improve: diagnose bugs, measure feature usage, and improve the engine
- Communicate: send you notifications you've opted into (daily prompts, check-in reminders, milestone alerts)
- Billing: process subscriptions through Apple/Google and honor your entitlements
- Safety and legal compliance: detect fraud, enforce our Terms, comply with legal requests
Who we share data with
We do not sell or rent your personal information.
We share limited data with the following service providers, each under contractual confidentiality:
- Apple App Store / Google Play: for subscription billing and receipt validation (RevenueCat)
- OneSignal: to deliver push notifications you've opted into
- Sentry: to collect crash logs, error reports, and performance telemetry
- Amazon Web Services: as our hosting provider for encrypted data storage
- Law enforcement: when required by a valid legal process
Data is never shared with advertising networks.

Delete your account

We retain your data while your account is active. When you delete your account, we remove data within 30 days, except for legally-required transaction records (kept up to 7 years).
We encrypt data in transit using HTTPS/TLS and at rest in our databases. We use role-based access controls, audit logs, and regular security reviews. No system is 100% secure — we'll notify affected users promptly if a data breach occurs.
Children's privacy
Aligned is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If you believe a child has used Aligned, contact admin@romancier.app and we'll delete the account.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the Service evolves. Material changes will be announced via in-app notification and on this page. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
